Combat the Gap
SUMMER LEARNING LOSS DURING COVID-19
Overview
To ensure that every student continues to build knowledge outside the classroom during school closures, the Great Minds® team of educators and subject experts created the distance learning initiative Knowledge on the Go, a collection of video lessons and resources in math, science, English language arts, and early literacy.
To close the learning gap caused by COVID-19 and to prevent additional loss this summer, join us in addressing what we’ve learned and what’s coming next from Great Minds for Fall 2020.
PARTICIPANTS WILL
- learn how Knowledge on the Go has helped and will continue helping students build knowledge at home,
- hear from a panel of administrators from Baltimore City Public Schools, Aspire Public Schools, and Capitol Collegiate Academy on their experience using Knowledge on the Go and its impact on their students' continuous learning,
- ask questions about distance and continuous learning best practices and
- discover how Great Minds will support continuous learning for Fall 2020.
