SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL NEEDS & STUDENT EQUITY

Fall 2020: Preparing for the New Normal - Implications for K-12 Education

Join Us

Uncertainty is the rule right now, particularly about what instruction will look like for the upcoming school year. Great Minds recognizes that educators, students, and families need special support during these times to ensure that everyone is in sync and that student learning is continuous, no matter the situation.

Join us for the second installment of the Educators Engage Roundtable Series where Great Minds chief academic officers for mathematics, humanities, and science will discuss possible scenarios for school operation this fall and various ways educators can ensure continuous learning.

PATICIPANTS WILL

  • examine how the COVID-19 school shutdowns will affect instruction and learning,
  • review new resources that support in-person, blended, and virtual instruction for the upcoming school year, and
  • ask questions about instructional best practices and what to expect as they reenter the physical or virtual classroom in the fall.
