In Lessons 16-17 part 2, students analyze data from part 1 to evaluate their design solutions and carry out improvements. Students present their improved designs and create a line plot to compare the design solutions (SEP.5). They use this data as evidence to support an explanation (CC.1) of which design best solves the problem given the criteria and constraints (ETS1.C) as they answer the Phenomenon Question: How can you make Howland Island and the runway easier to find?
