Knowledge_On-The-Go_Grade-5Level 5 Module 4 Lesson 18: Appearance of the Stars

In Lesson 18, students begin to explore the Phenomenon Question: What factors determine the appearance of stars? Students investigate how distance affects the appearance of stars as viewed from Earth. They compare the Sun, the Moon, and stars to understand that natural objects exist from the very small to the immensely large (CC.3) and that the apparent size of these objects differs from their actual size.
