LaTanya Manning

Instructional Coach, Friendship Woodridge International School

LaTanya Manning is an instructional coach at Friendship Woodridge International School, a charter school in Washington, D.C. She works directly with teachers to provide instructional support and best practices and assists with implementing the curriculum with integrity to ensure that all students have equitable access to quality instructional materials. LaTanya taught elementary, middle, and high school for 21 years in both D.C. and Texas. She earned the honor of Teacher of the Year in 2009 from Friendship Public Charter School. She is also a Fellow who works in collaboration with the Wit & Wisdom professional development team by facilitating Wit & Wisdom's in-person PD sessions around the country to support local and national implementation of the curriculum. LaTanya received her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Texas Southern University in Houston, and her Master of Arts in Teaching from American University in Washington, D.C.

Liz Manolis

Professional Development Program Manager, Humanities, Great Minds

Liz Manolis is the program manager for Humanities professional development at Great Minds.. Liz manages the Wit & Wisdom professional development team and partners with districts to support strong implementation of the curriculum. She has 30 years of experience in public education as a special education teacher, middle school teacher, and literacy coach, and was the lead curriculum writer for Grade 4 Wit & Wisdom.
