Student-Centered Learning and Discourse in Eureka Math2

Student-Centered Learning and Discourse in Eureka Math²

Eureka Math2® was designed to help all students see that they are mathematicians. Our high-quality curriculum provides instruction that includes guided experiences, discovery opportunities, open-middle and open-ended tasks, and explicit instruction.

What You'll Explore in This Session:

In this session, we'll explore ways our program enables teachers to foster an engaging learning environment where students share their thinking by using discourse-rich and rigorous tasks, images, videos, problems, and instructional routines. You’ll see how lessons in Eureka Math2 support student-centered instruction by using the “5 Practices for Orchestrating Productive Mathematics Discussions” framework to ensure student voice and agency in mathematics. This webinar is focused on Grade Levels K–Algebra I/Mathematics I.

Learn more about how Eureka Math2’s lesson design, videos, digital interactives, and discourse supports help transform classrooms into joyful and empowering mathematical communities.
